Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: February 6, 2026

Our Commitment

Annona Inc. is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Accessible Canada Act (S.C. 2019, c. 10) and applicable provincial accessibility legislation.

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and are continually improving our platform to ensure the best possible experience for all users.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following features to support accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the platform
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • Responsive design that adapts to various screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • ARIA labels and roles where appropriate
  • Focus indicators for interactive elements
  • Dark mode support to reduce eye strain

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the platform may have limitations as we continue to improve:

  • Some user-generated content (recipe images, curator photos) may lack descriptive alternative text
  • Certain interactive data visualizations in the analytics section may not be fully accessible to screen readers
  • Third-party embedded content may not meet our accessibility standards

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback on areas where we can improve.
